East Sycamore Road between Division Street and Hafer Road will be CLOSED to through traffic on Saturday, August 29th for road repairs. The road work will begin at 7:00 am and continue through Monday, August 31st. Expect delays and avoid the area if possible. Please contact Carterville City Hall with any questions.
Starting the week of August 10th, all those entering the John A. Logan campus must enter from the west side using Greenbriar Road and exit the campus from the east side on Plaza Drive. JALC will be performing drive through COVID-19 screenings for all staff, students, and visitors. If traveling in the areas of Plaza Drive or Greenbriar Road, please be alert and use caution near campus.

The IHDA (Illinois Housing Development Authority) is offering grants through two different programs, the Emergency Rental Assistance program and the Emergency Mortgage Assistance program. The Emergency Rental Assistance program offers qualified tenants a one-time grant up to $5000 paid directly to the landlord for missed payments. The Emergency Mortgage Assistance program offers qualified homeowners a grant up to $15,000 for missed mortgage payments.
