The City of Carterville will be accepting sealed bids for SURPLUS PUMPS. Further details can be obtained by contacting the Carterville Water Department at 985-2011, or emailing asimpson@visitcarterville.com. Sealed bids must be received by 4pm, November 10, 2020. Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and IDPH Director, Dr. Ezike, announced additional COVID-19 mitigation measures for IDPH Region 5, which includes Carterville. The additional mitigations were placed because the rolling average of the region’s positivity rates exceeded 8%. These mitigation measures begin at 12:01am on Thursday, October 22nd and include the closing of indoor service for bars and restaurants, limiting social gatherings to 25% capacity or 25 people (whichever is least), gaming is limited to 25% capacity and must close at 11:00pm and, as of now, schools are not included in the additional mitigations.
