An isolated boil water order has been issued for all Carterville water customers on Meadowbrook Lane and Old Route 13 from Meadowbrook Lane east to Wolf Creek Road, including Shady Drive, South Main Street, Sassafras Lane, and the Wolf Creek Trailer Court. Water used for drinking or cooking purposes should be brought to a rolling boil for at lease five minutes before use.
The City of Carterville is accepting sealed bids for the sole advertiser on the Carterville 311 smartphone application. The successful bidder will be allowed to have their business name and logo placed in an active link banner across the bottom of the home screen. This form of advertisement will be valid for a period of twelve months. Sealed bids will be accepted until 4:00pm on November 6, 2023 at Carterville City Hall, 103 S.
