City Wide Clean Up Event

The dates for the City of Carterville Clean Up Days are scheduled for June 4th and 5th and June 11th and 12th.

For residents in the City limits, June 4th and 5th is for residents north of Grand Ave. and June 11th and 12th is for residents south of Grand Ave.

Invitation To Bid – Mowing

The City of Carterville, Illinois Water and Sewer Department will accept SEALED BIDS for mowing/trimming of the Water and Sewer Plant Grounds.  Bids are to be priced per each occurrence of mowing/trimming.  Maps of the properties are available by request and tours can be scheduled by contacting the Water Department.  Sealed bids will be accepted by Amy Simpson, Board Secretary, until 3:00pm March 4, 2020.

In addition, a separate SEALED BID for mowing/trimming of the twenty two (22) lift stations may also be submitted. A map with the locations of the lift stations is available to pick up at the Carterville Water and Sewer Office, 101 S. Division, Carterville, IL  62918. Proof of insurance will be required upon acceptance of bids.

Due to a water main break on West Sycamore Road, an isolated boil water order has been issued for Carterville Water customers on the following streets:

These customers are under a boil order until further notice. A map is attached  for clarification.

(Water used for Drinking and Cooking purposes should be brought to a rolling boil for at least five (5) minutes prior to use)

Loegering Steel Track for 873 Bobcat

Generator(10K 1966 Allis Chamlers engine, rebult injection pump)

To view the equipment, please contact the City’s Fleet Manager at 618-201-1847 for an appointment.

Bids will be accepted until Tuesday, February 25th at 4pm.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
