Water Quality Report
Water service is one thing that many people take for granted, and it’s rarely realized what goes into providing running water to a town.  The Carterville Water & Sewer Department is committed to providing residents with a safe and reliable supply of high-quality drinking water.

Tap water for Carterville meets all federal (USEPA) and State of Illinois drinking water health standards.  This annual “Water Quality Report” required by the Safe Drinking Water Act (SWDA) tells you where your water comes from, what our tests show about it, and other valuable items concerning your drinking water.

If you have any questions regarding this report, please contact Jerry Hampton, Water Superintendent , at (618) 985-2011 or by email
