WASTE
The City of Carterville is under contract with SI Waste Containers for all residential trash services inside the city limits. The cost for monthly service is $17.59 per household/per receptacle which is billed on your monthly water and sewer bill. For replacement cans and other issues, please call the Carterville Water Department at 618-985-2011.
Trash is picked up weekly and you can click Trash Schedule to determine what day waste services are scheduled for your residence or call the Carterville Water Department at 618-985-2011.
RECYCLE
Carterville residents, as well as residents in the three counties of Franklin, Jackson, and Williamson, can utilize Progress Port Recycling Center for their recycling needs. This recycling center is located in Carterville at 1120 North Division Street.
By clicking Progress Port Recycling Center you can view a list of items that are and are not accepted at their facility.
The recycling center is also bonded to provide shredding services.
