UPDATE 09/11/2020, 2:40pm: The isolated boil water order has been LIFTED.
Because of damage to a water main from a construction crew, an isolated boil water order has been issued for Carterville water customers in the following locations: Abby Drive – California St. – Chambers St. – Howerton St. – LaClede St. – Moore St. – Oregon St. – Spence St. – South Division (both sides) between LaClede and Howerton. The boil watre order will remain in effect until further notice. Water used for drinking and cooking purposes should be brought to a rolling boil for at least 5 minutes.
